Zurit Z. Barajas represents business and individual clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal court, including pre-suit case evaluation, motion practice, appeals, and post-judgment collection activity.  She is experienced with suits pertaining to fraud, breach of contract, personal injury, eviction, and bankruptcy.  She also has experience handling criminal matters.  Her experience includes drafting pleadings, briefs, and memoranda, including dispositive motions, discovery, and preparing pre-trial memoranda.

A graduate of Southwestern Law School, Zurit served as the Managing Editor for the Journal of International Law and as Vice President of the Women’s Law Association. During her tenure at Southwestern, Zurit also received an array of Dean’s Merit Scholarships and graduated in the top 20% of her class. Zurit received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California at Los Angeles. She also is fluent in Spanish.
